I've spent the last few days rewriting the html for all the web pages on my website to completely change the look of it. I also programed it to use "server side includes" so my menu can be maintained separate from the pages they are on. I was getting fed up with adding menu items to 30 pages every time I added something new. That required me to reformat my server, reinstall an then figure out how to set the server up for "server side includes." Anyway, I think it makes it look way more professional.

I do have a few links to fix an my brooder camera needs a new cable ran out to it before it works but the hard stuff is done. Now I just need people off my LAN to check it out an tell me how it works with there browser an screen resolution.

However, I thought I should point out that you spelled "Fowl" wrong on the Learning Center part of the menu.

nice yet I know HTML code ughh, but it's fun sometimes in public funds just want to throw the computer into the wall right or is that just me. But seriously awesome website very cool nice website

Thanks, should be fixed now. See, last week it would have taken me hours to open all my pages an edit them to fix that one mistake. Now it took seconds to edit one letter out of one file. I misspell a lot so that's a big help.

A year ago I didnt really know anything about html. I got to playing with Kompozer an learned the basics. Then after a lot of reading with the help of Google I think Ive got to something I like the look of. I did have to walk away an go fishing or something many many times to keep from throwing it out the window.

Safari I don't have, so that helps to know it works with it. Yea, my site is pretty slow. Because of the web cameras an because it lets me be more hands on with my server I host it locally. My outgoing traffic is throttled at just under 500Kbps so that gives my pages an average of 7 second load times according to Google. That is pretty slow by today's standards but livable, but add in 5 to 10 visitors at once an it can get real slow.

Being as it was the only complaint I got, I did a bit of modifying to get the load times down. Among other small changes like shrinking my background slightly(850kb to 160kb) I gave up my animated(1200kb) farm name for one that is static.(8kb) Its nowhere near as cool but according to my tests I could do on the net I got my load times from 29 seconds to just under 5 seconds. Well worth the boost in speed. The say the five second mark is where people give up an back out of a page.
