Had my first complaint about my backyard birds...

Or when the new neighbors show up, you could very politely (and I am not being sarcastic) take them a "welcome to the neighborhood" treat of some very local deviled eggs. Or brownies + 1/2 dozen eggs to share. Could it possibly be that some other neighbor complained? So it could still be a good idea to start off on the right foot if possible.

Hey, your new neighbor sounds like my neighbor who did exactly the same thing! She bought the house next door, moved in, and didn't come back for about 1 year. Recently divorced, from LA. Turns out it had to do with custody of her son. She didn't exactly have permission from her hubby to move their son across the country... She didn't plan well.

Hi Imp,

I'm new here so please forgive me if I err in some way.

Being born and raised in New Jersey, where tomatoes, trees, BLACKBERRY & blueberry bushes all grow like weeds, my dry, parched ears perked at the thought of being able - somehow - to get some blackberry bushes.

I have spent the past 30 years in Colorado; beautiful and open as it is, on the southeast high prairie here, it is close to desert conditions. :cool:What could I bribe you with (LOL) to get A blackberry bush in the mail? Besides my forever gratefulness... [email protected]

Thanks!

Politely ask them if they are really offended by your chickens. If so, tell them you are very willing to help. Offer to hook them up with a real estate agent so they can find a property more to their liking if they won't be happy there. What are neighbors for?
