Had something digging to get under coop

We had something trying to dig under the coop. Couldn't rule out Chihuahua. I put a wire skirt around the coop. Put the rubber mulch back in place. Mulch was moved in the morning before Chihuahua was even out, so he was ruled out. Didn't have wire skirt on one side (was big enough for a rat), so Sunday I took down 4 foot of fencing, installed the wire skirt, put fencing back up.
Got out the Game Cam and set it up. Caught the culprit on the game cam. It was a rat. Put out the bait boxes.

Yep pictures on game cam, can't upload to here, Only Internet I have is on phone. The only Internet provider we can get is Hughes Net

UPDATE:
Tuesday morning there was digging signs and pics on game cam again. Looked at the Just One Bite bars. They had been ate on. No digging signs or pictures on game cam Wednesday morning or this morning.

Rats will do lots of digging. It can take a week or so after putting out poison before you start to see less signs of their activities. Usually if you have see one rat, you have a lot more.

Landlord puts bait out year round. All we can do is keep population from exploding. I tried a different way cause of the chickens, but after the digging & game cam went back to Just One Bite.
My dad is an exterminator(lives in a different state) and told me what poison to look for.
