HAL HAL 2017 Contest #1: Egg Decorating Contest

Pics
I "think" Liz is saying the egg shell must be kept intact. Some contests used eggs shells as mosaic material which was very nice!

I've desiccated my eggs. I may/may not have left them out for a year. denkend_smilie_0004.gif
The eggs I did last year I painted fresh eggs...and I still have them all.
I didn't put them in a bag. :th

I just checked on the eggs I did last fall. The eggs I painted with acrylic and left flat have dried out. The eggs I coated with a clear coat of nail polish (I had no clear spray paint) have not dried out like the rest. (The purple middle and the black with eyes)

I stored them open in a container while I've been searching for a way to display them. If this helps anyone. :)

That's what I was trying to figure out. As long as I don't cut the egg, can I peel it?
You want to eat the egg. ;) (just teasing)

@mlm Mike can confirm about the intactness requirements....lol

I may just be confused. It wouldn't be the first time. :p

Please note below: Liz liked this post because she KNOWS I have been confused and has examples; like MY mistaking her young turkeys as being guineas. :p

Just clarifying, when the rules say this, "Do not cut the eggs. Blowing them is okay but this is a decorating contest, not a cutting one."...does that mean the shell has to be there? In other words, I can't peel the shell off?
Huh? Like do something with a hard boiled egg? :hmm

The shell should be intact except for blow holes. We're decorating eggs here, not doing fancy art pieces.

Of course she does! Probably as to invite me to a nice light lunch and good conversation. Boiled eggs would be quite lovely.

N F C, I could be there tomorrow for tea if that works for you. ;)
