Half silkie half what?

Do you know what other chickens that breeder has? Perhaps that can give you a clue.

He's definitely got the same green shine and the long tail feathers but I'm more curious as to where his gold wing feathers/ beige neck feathers come from (at at second glance his neck feathers are a kind of beige)

Your other chick looks like a "sizzle" or frizzled silkie!
That's what I was thinking too, she's a bit weird though, her brother, the chicken who's breed is in question, is very friendly he's curious and always follows me around. She however is not very sociable, she barely let's anybody pick her up and when she does get picked up she's not very happy. I raised both of them from day 1 and for some reason she just does not like people

Chickens are different just like people. I hand rasie all of my chicks, they all get lots of attention and there are definite differences, even within the same breed. Some of my silkies are lap pets, some not so much. My little cross breed plain white chicken will come and sit on my lap and stay there for hours if I let her, my orpington is friendly but prefers not be be handled, so you never know!:)

Oh, that's wonderful, I was scared because I thought I was doing something wrong that just made her afraid of people

One of my Serama chicks is getting the exact same coloring that he has
I did see a couple of seramas that have slightly similar coloring as him but I don't think that he's part seramas because of his size proportions

I was thinking the same thing. I was curious to know what my Serama would look like when he got bigger so this was a nice post to find. Your rooster is gorgeous!
