Aw, he's so cute in his summer cut

I always hate coming up with the paper names. Takes me at least a week or two.

Hey, Deb!! I know what you mean about half a dog. I groomed one yesterday that was a shihtzu, and he looked like a miniature sheepdog before I shaved him. The owner couldn't believe it was her dog when she picked him up. Whoever did your dog's cut did an excellent job. Love the had on him. Nicely rounded and even looking to me. My boss has five Maltese and I groom hers the exact same way. Today and yesterday, however, I have been teaching her how to groom them herself. So far, so good.

What a cutie! I understand the half a dog thing. I have 2 shih tzus that I let grow out during the winter. They are so beautiful with a full coat. But come spring and mud season

they are off to the groomers!

My husband LOVES to shave the dogs in the summer. He leaves their heads poofy though. (They are cavalier/bichon) We just gave baths this morning and he is going to trim them again and give the two boys and our bichon what we call "puddy paws". He trims them really short to help them not track in so much mud. On our bichon it looks like she is wearing ballet slippers.


Does Micro always stay so white? We have problems with the "beard" area always looking dirty. It doesn't help we give a raw egg in their food every morning
