HALLOWEEN Hatch-a-Long 2016 w/ Hosts, Mike, Sally & BantyChooks

Those are actually the testicals that seem to be attached to the back with super glue. The kidneys and lungs come out pretty easy.

Nope the testis are easy to come out, its the lungs that are withing the wall
Okay cool so I was right so yeah the lungs and the kidneys but mostly just the kidneys.

that's so funny BC according to the diagram Sally posted it's certainly the kidneys giving us trouble up by the spine. I thought the color seems more like a kidney color than testis
Chicken testicals are shaped like human kidneys. They are attached to the back between the lungs and the kidney. They are usually a creamy white color, but may sometimes be black. Chickens only have one kidney, by the way.

I had to unplug my incubator, I couldn't get the temp below 114. I'm going to let it cool off, then try again and see if my husband can help me turn it down. :hmm
You suuuure you are turning temp dial the right way? Pics?

I, ummm, kinda turned it the wrong way for a bit when I first started. So I know.

Candled my broodys eggs tonight, day 9...they all look like something good is happening, i used my phone flashlight to candle, and the white egg i could see the little thing moving around! The others i still have a hard time with, although there was veining.

Me too! I was showing one to my sister and the tiny thing was wiggling around. It was so cool. Mine are 8 days.
