Checking in to see how everyone else is doing in here.

I'm busy playing maid to some seriously messy ducklings. It's been getting cold outside and in the coop, so I had the not so bright idea to put them in the bathtub on the main floor. On puppy piddle pads of course. How the heck they can mess up and entire tub in under 1/2 hour is beyond me. Good thing they are so darn cute.

Out of the 10 eggs I slipped under a broody hen, 15 days ago, all but 3 were clear. Combination of shorter days affecting my rooster's fertility and uncooperative young pullets. At least I have 3 beautifully developing embryos nearly ready to hatch. Just a few more days now.

My TJ egg quit on day 10. It broke my heart. I went back to Trader Joes and have 12 new egg's in the bator. They will Hatch ( finger's crossed) on the 24th so I am still in!
