Those cuties in the third pic need to fly to my place.

I am kinda glad I'm going to be done. I know, eh!
It'll be nice to use the washing machine again...and to just have a break.
If I had ducks I'd be getting them in a row...

The 2 quail are STILL alive. That's amazing!
I had temps right up in the brooder yesterday and a small space so they can't get chilled.
I think the first one got chilled.

So I've got them both in the 'bator in the dish. I've seen one drink but haven't seen them eat.
They sound like they're complaining. They perk up when I tap ever-so-lightly on the glass.
They won't respondd to me pecking the food with my finger.
They're standing on a very fine crushed "pre-starter" starter I crushed for them.
So I gave the tiniest pinch of vitamin/electrolytes in their water in case???
Both quail have their feet clenched into a ball and run around on the knuckles.
I was hoping it was a newborn thing...but I don't think so.

Bandaging the feet straight is gonna be tough.
Button quail on you tube videos have flat normal feet after hatching.
Thinking possibly vitamin/ mineral issue/lacking with the parents.
Does anyone have any thoughts or advice?

Oh yes, forgot...I gave them polyvisol in their water last night. Spilled it on and stained my bator this morning.

I know the feeling, I'm glad I'm done till spring too, (I hope). I remember crushing food for the. I didn't have foot issues, I'd work on that. It will be tough getting those little feet straightened. No additional advice, try the eloctrolytes/vitamins. Good luck! Sorry I'm no help.
