I am done for the year.

But I'll cheer everyone else on!

I need to regroup, clean, get organized etc. before hatching more.
And possibly downsize so I can focus and perfect what I'm getting.


@DwayneNLiz I "think" that's what the button's are for if I understand it properly...just house pets.
Quailee will only get as big as a new born chick.

I find it hard to fathom.
I do know some people who will have hatched out buttons too...their first time as well. Maybe I can get a friend for Quailee.

Yep, that and the baby bunnies...lol. He's angry because the new stray male cat is stalking the bunnies.
Oh, AND Shuster the Rooster (that's what he's been calling the new guy) and Forest the Guinea.
He does have a few favorites...lol.

my husband (he hates all my birds) has decided that he likes ducklings way more than chicks and chickens, and has claimed one as his own, and has been going in and playing with it, with my daughter

i should have done ducks sooner

we hatched 5 call ducklings, my daughter claimed 2, my husband and i each got one and then there is one that is so far unnamed but we are bringing them into daycare monday for a playdate and the class is going to name the last one. they are VERY excited

I just found these which possibly relate to little Quailee.
Curly toe paralysis...a riboflavin (vitamin B2) deficiency.
He showed it at hatching...but it's exactly like what he's experiencing, thankfully to a lesser degree.

can you just give more B2 and it will straighten out??

Oooooh...I know I'd be excited if I was a child at the daycare.
