I moved my eggs to the hatcher this morning. I hope they are ready!! They looked to be a bit behind in development when I first brought them in. And mama hen is still setting fast. I will need to keep an eye on her so I can snatch her extra eggs once she is done hatching!!

Halfway through day 19, still no pips. I'm heading out of town (so of course they'll all pop out of those eggs while I'm gone), so I'll update when I get home, very late tonight.

Unfortunately I have to leave for the majority of the day. I will also be gone most of the day on Saturday. So I am thinking they had better hatch tomorrow! The only day I am home all day - well sort of.

The poor little dark one flipped over on his back & couldn't get up!

I think one of my Silkie eggs has a very tiny pip!

Well, I have blue cochins not due until Sunday yet they are in their 'bator rocking! nothing from the ones due to hatch tomorrow!!

I ended up with 8 chicks, 2 of which I had to help hatch out. My humidity in the hatcher has been good...between 60 & 70. But, the membranes stuck to those babies like glue. So far, they seem to be doing okay, but we'll have to see...

I have 5 eggs with no pips yet. But, today is actually day 21 for me. Honestly, I don't know if I want pips if it means I have to intervene. I had no clue what I was doing...
