What I have found is if I get the error after hitting send on my post just hit the back key and don't try to send again, this seems to be working.

I got my first chick!!!!!!

My son is home today, so he is egg sitting for me. He just sent this pic. Sorry, it's from his cell phone so quality is not great. I'll send better ones later...

My power went out last night and both my bators dropped to 70!

Now it's going to take forever for them to hatch!!

And my quail babies almost died b/c they didn't have a light and it got down to 63 in the house. Luckily I found them and warmed them up in front of the fire and they all seem ok now.

Humidity issues...

I don't know WHAT is going on. Upped the humidity yesterdya evening so I could keep an eye on it. Seemed stable around 65%. I was up every 4 hours with the baby and noticed at 4am the high humidity had gone up to 99%!!!!! It was then at 58%??? I reset the thermometer at about midnight so I know it wasn't up that high for long...so confused. Now...I can't get it up past 60%...

I think it will be a MIRACLE if any of these hatch
