Day five on my duck eggs; cloudy and dark area in there (babies developing). Woohoo, they were fertile! **groans** 30 days to wait though (if they're the breed I think they are); one week less if they're not.

Are they muscovy?

I just candled, then candled an un incubated egg for comparison. I guess there is development. The eggs are fertile, I saw a bright, undeniable bullseye in the un incubated one. I really don’t think the spike was long enough to do damage.

It's hard to say as the three eggs were a gift from my neighbor. She pointed out their father; she did NOT point out the mother, and she's got some eighty+ animals 'Free ranging' her property.
