Who likes hand turning eggs better than the auto system, & why? I have better hatch rates when turning by hand, I think maybe its good that it cools off a couple of times a day, the hen does the same thing, this is with my styrofoam bater only, not the cabinet type, the small styrofoam bator gets back to temp quickly, & this turning is done with the eggs in a carton, whats your opinion?

Plus, I am afraid to touch the incubating eggs so frequently!

I hand turn twice a day. I don't use the auto turner only bc I can get more eggs in the bator withou it!!
Don't no if it makes a differece or not but i get about 99% hatch rates so......???
