Poop looks mostly normal so I'm holding off on feeding anything else

Decided to bite the bullet and take him to the vet. It's a $500 deposit just to get in but I want to give him the best chance. We're otw there now

Just dropped him off. Ive never used this vet before but they seem very competent so fingers crossed

Good news! The vet called and said they drained his crop and he is already more active. Going to pick him up now...

Just picked him up! Huge difference in activity level. He's chirping and begging for food. Got a Nystatin prescription. Hopefully he pulls through.

His crop still isn't draining properly and he is less active than yesterday. Trying to get ahold of the vet but he's in appointments all day.

His crop drained significantly while waiting for the vet to call. I think I'm just sleep deprived and overreacting. This has been an emotional roller-coaster so thanks for putting up with me.

On a much happier note- his eyes are starting to open and feathers are forming!

I do think it is sour crop. How should I treat A bird this young?

You can try substituting a bit of the water you use to mix the Kaytee Exact with a small amount of organic apple cider vinegar. It treats and prevents canker very well, and I've read it can help with sour crop as well (but I have no experience with sour crop, FYI).
