Hands on hatching and help

So the turkey has hatched, but it is very sticky and dry. What should I do for this?
It also has a little bump on its neck and a little red spot on its back.
It's been my experience that the neck swelling is from humidity being too high for the first 25 days, and the raw looking spot is basically a minor pressure sore, also from the humidity being too high. No need to worry about the swelling or the sore, they will resolve on their own.

How sticky is it?

Oh that's weird, because I had the humidity at 40 (usually between 30-35) at the most the first 25 days. It's fluffing up in certain spots, but it has some membrane stuck to it's side and some spots are hardened. I put a container in the incubator to put it in because it kept on getting stuck on its back, and that seems to have balanced her out.

If its been internally pipped for 48 hours I would make an external pip for it where you can see the inner membrane . Then give it 24 more hours before you open a bit more to check for veining. If still veins id wait adleast 10 more hours then check again. I just had this problem. I had to help all my calls and the only one I didn't help died.. :( make sure you moisten the membrane with Vaseline or antibiotic ointment without pain reliever.

I seriously have a calendar I swear lol. But forgot to mark wen I se them. Then when I went back to check my dates it was like duh..
It'll be 24 hours late morning so if there's no progress I'll open a little more. That's what I'm worried about I've had to many die from this so I want to do everything right. I'm so glad byc is back I wouldn't have a clue what to do :hugs
