That's interesting! I will have to try gently rolling a few eggs next week during my hatch!Have you changed your batteries lately or tried a different flashlight? Does the egg still feel very warm when you hold it? Sometimes I have "felt" movement in my hand on the final eggs. I've also noticed, and its nothing "scientific", but DIS eggs seem to roll easily, like when barely touched with your finger, or when bumped by another chick. Ones with chicks still living inside will roll a little, but kinda like a weeble (showing my old age), they seem to go right back to the spot they were sitting on. I hope that makes sense.
Hey not even 1 of my Ameracaunas have pipped yet. Is it ok for me to candle them to check for an internal pip?
I'm on day 21 for the Ameracaunas..What day are you on again.?

That's what I did on day 20&ours where fine.
Are they true Ameraucanas?I think our light is not working because I couldn't see anything. I did discover the tiniest of pips so I wrapped it up and have let them alone. The last egg that I thought was ameracauna hatched. It's not. It was from the first batch which means 9 out of 10 hatched. That means the 2 I think it was that weren't fertile and the one with the blood ring were ameracaunas. Their are 4 left out of seven. Hopefully these hatch cause they are the only Ameracaunas I got..![]()
