What did you find now? Seriously I have no clue what's going on. There's now someone in the NY thread who is in TN who keeps asking to take people's birds and then trying to make them give them hens instead of the birds they asked to take. I'd love to know how they plan to get these birds in the first place.

All types... it's like a mass epidemic of brain failure going on...

Oh, for the love of!!!

It just keeps going, and going...

Oops, hit submit before I was done... someone couldn't figure out why one of her hens kept getting picked on, posted pics and they're all roosters... people still kept insisting they separate and reintegrate into the flock...

Oh, those types, lol,  I thought you meant BYC technical problems!

Nah, I expect technical issues, lol...

Btw, I wanted to ask you, did you understand the Uri post?? Just curious...

Either the heat is getting to everyone, or we are due for a full moon

One flockin' looooong full moon! :gig

I'm hoping someone can help me out with an estimate on what day these turkey eggs are on.
My Amish neighbor came by Monday and said another neighbor's turkey had decided to nest in his barn. Normally he would have let her hatch them, but something (he suspects skunk) was stealing and eating them out of the nest. She started with 14 or so eggs and was down to 7. He didn't know if they were fertile eggs or not so I offered to candle them for him and all 7 looked viable with great veining. So he asked if I would incubate them so the babies didn't get eaten and I agreed. He asked the owner if he wanted the poults and he said my neighbor could have them. So here I am with 7 turkey eggs for my neighbor lol and let me tell ya, turkey egg candling pics are in short supply to compare with! I'm thinking based on a 28 day air cell pic they could be 12-ish days along but that's a guess so I really appreciate any help.
