Just want to share a pic of my to most favorite chickens now that I can post pics on mobile again!! My white leghorn big red and our polish bantam rooster watching for hawks. :)

First 2 beautiful OEGBs are in the brooder, pips #1 and #3. Pip #2 was an assist at 24 hours, it just kicked out on its own, after about a half hour rest. Its sticky!! Yuck. But its good now!

One chocolate orp has hatched under the broody, then one in my bator. I saw she had another pip and I have 4 more pips with one starting to zip.

Gonna be a long night, and even longer day tomorrow. I only wish I could call off work.

I would die. I hate the heat. I live in Michigan and we have been in the 90's for weeks and I feel like I'm dying. All the yard work is behind and yard projects half done. Lol.

I really hate the heat also. To top it off we are in a drought so we can't use much water. I've tried to talk my husband into moving but he won't go lol. I want to be in Washington or someplace like that..

Aww they are beautiful! I love the way they look when they first hatch. They are so cute!! :)

Full assist on this one, stalled out about one-third zipped. Got rolled by another chick. Membrane was stuck like glue to its wing, but its doing well now.

He popped his head out from under his wing and I had to peel the membrane from the wing.

Aww poor little love. That happened to my silkie tweety. The membrane had stuck to her eye. Glad everything worked out!! :)

Thanks. It was so cute, he tried to push out and only his head came out, but that made it easier to get the membrane off, because I was trying not to poke him in the eye, or get the Vaseline in the eyes or beak. Once he got his head out, I slathered the wing and peeled it off.
