Hands on hatching and help

Ugh. My guineas are coming out sticky and goopy, at ~70% humidity. Any suggestions? I have five out, 5 externally pipped, 16 to go. These eggs are thinner than my flock (they're shipped from a different flock for more colors/genes). I don't know if that changes what I need to do.

@Pyxis
What day should I start seeing veining on my goose eggs. Day 4 and I don't see anything but it's still early. Hoping I wasn't duped.. :( they have jiggly air cells as well...

I usually wait until day ten to be sure, but usually I can see stuff by day five. I have my fingers crossed for you :fl

Have you ever been so mad you can't see straight... got into an argument with someone here and I know I could have explained things better so that they would have understood what I was saying but they were so snooty that I just lost my temper.. :/ I hate doing that because I want to be helpful as I can. No one likes attitude but I she wouldn't even let me drop the subject.. ugh. This is the only thing I hate about Internet forums... :(

The gang's all here! 18+ shipped silkie eggs from RubyNala. There's 18 chicks in there, all happy and healthy!

The two crushed shelled chicks I had to get out early are truly miracle babies. They both survived and are doing well. The cords and attached membrane shriveled up and was the size of sewing thread so I cut it with no problems at all. They are both in the coop with the stupid broody mom. I have several hatching now so I'll post pics of the gang soon! Here's a pic of one just before getting them out a couple days ago, and both of them today.

That is truly amazing that you saved these two! How did find the beak and how did you break the membrane? Did it bleed? I find making an internal pip fascinating. You did a great job!

I first rubbed a very thin coat of vaseline on the exposed membrane and put it in the incubator for a few hours, then it was pliable enough to find the loosest part to use my tweezers. It came off really easy. I had one that died during pipping, but the last one I help out or it probably wouldn't have made it otherwise.
