Hands on hatching and help

I slept for a couple hours at a time from midnight to 7 to his morning....lol Checked the bator about every two hours..... I really wanted to set them at midnight, but then realized I had to monitor for a couple hours after so we decided since they'd been sitting for 12 hours to go ahead and set at 10, that way I could go to bed at midnight....lol
I guess I'm not understanding the time thing? why worry about the time? hens don't have a clock they only go by days...

Guess what? I open my incubator at least ten times yesterday and the duckling still managed to hatch. Go figure...

Leads to my question again "why lockdown, they still hatched". LOL

M. It has dried up a bit
Don't panic yet, take a pic of his belly let me see it. he's just weak from all that has gone on, with some vitamins, he'll be OK, hell pick himself back up. Don't stress just yet.. LOL

What the navel looks like will give me a better idea as to what's going on. He may need some antibotic cream on it. But I would like to see what the belly looks like first..
