I know about the crowded Hatches---LOL This is a basic hatch----I never took a pic of the trays LOADED--Hatch
I love it. You can get it at the dollar stores and when they are done roll it up and throw it away. Makes cleaning that much easier...lol
I can't count the coronaries I have before they are all out....lolOK thank you will try that then it's my very first time and I'm only on day 2 so of course the Bator that had been stable for days before I added anything will drop and give me a minor coronary once I add eggs!!

That's cool. Do you find the wood around the inside helps the temps stay steady better?

I won some coturnix quail from @ peep-chicken for the may share a laugh I was not thinking I'd win from a reply so I was totally not ready for this! Had a bator but was still reading trying to learn everything I could before I tried and then all of a sudden I had eggs coming!!! Sooo here we are and I'm by far comfortable in my knowledge about these things!! Thank god for this thread and all of you!! I'm sure I'll have more questions as time goes on! Kinda glad its only going to take 17-18 days don't think my heart would hold out any longer!!!

That's why I say I couldn't do duck eggs....lol the 21 days for chicken eggs is enough not to mention the amount of time it can take ducks go from pip to zip.
