Hands on hatching and help

If you don't live in Texas, would you still take cash that came in the mail if I ordered Hatching eggs? Just asking, because I don't have money right now, and you would have to contact me Via FaceBook or FaceBook Messenger. I don't have a credit or debit card or Checks. I don't do Money Orders, I don't know how. I Only Do Cash.

I saw that you posted about wanting to send cash on one of my classified ads so I'm wondering if you're asking about my hatching eggs??
If you were asking me- I'm sorry, but no I don't sell hatching eggs to anyone under 18. Not even outside of byc. If you want to have your parents contact me directly, I'll be glad to go over purchase options with them.
I have a teenager myself and I dont allow him to buy things online. If it's something he wants to get with his own money, he pays me and I make the purchase

Makes Sense. But my parents, as long as I ask, let me buy stuff off of Facebook. But there is almost nothing I want to buy off of Facebook, unless it has to do with animals, Chickens and Rabbits Mainly. My parents don't have a credit card or debit card or checks, they do cash for everything. I don't know about money orders. Are any of the stores that sell Chickens, still selling Chickens?

Around here, our Rural King is still selling chicks. Last time I looked at them they had production reds and RIR's left. Do you have any hatcheries in driving distance from you? Many have a store for buying in person and picking up orders. Here in Ohio, Meyer Hatchery has a bargain bin in the store with all kinds of unsold poultry on sale. I picked up some layers from them last spring and saw lots of cash buyers getting good deals.

Yep my local buyers always pay cash too

I'm on my second hatch. The first one didn't go well but this batch looks good. I have four babies that hatched and one that I knew was good when I candled before I put them into lock down mode. The other babies keep kicking the egg so I tried to open the Bator a hair so I could move the egg where I can see it. Because of that the humidity dropped to 50. Now I'm getting paranoid. What do I do?

I've been keeping up reading through posts but every time I go to quote something happens and I never get to finish! Way to busy this past week! My call duck hatches are over!! Ravyn was a lifesaver once again! Most of them hatched fine on their own. But a few needed a little to full on assisting. Had one that took forever, ok it was 4 days of assisting but felt like forever. Then when it came out it was a bleeder! Never seen blood before but it was scary. Then the last one also took forever and came out on its own with the yolk sac not closed. But everyone is doing amazing now!! They are all beautiful and extremely active and little piggies that don't stop eating and drinking from the second you put them in the brooder. Don't have a group shot yet but I'll get one, still have one in the incubator. Now the silkie eggs are hatching. I think there is like 5 or 6 pips. Locked down with 2 external pips...oops!

Get a paper towel. Fold it up and dip it in warm water. You can also use a sponge. When you open the lid always have one ready and put it in and close the lid. This guarantees you humidity won't stay down for long. Make sure the water is very warm though. Also don't keep it to wet just more damp. Good luck. :)
