There's plenty of experienced duck hatchers right here... WV is excellent at guiding for assistance, Ruby has now hatched 2 batches of shipped Calls and 1 batch of locals... she may not admit it, but she did exceptionally well and I have no doubt can guide now as well... I am always available as well, just might need to tag me or PM to get my attention, lol...
I'm sure I'll be bugging everyone really soon lol



[/quote. My goodness I hope so! I'm soo new to this and my broody mamas do fine all the way up to hatch then these weird things happen! I need to suck it up a little too I just see those sweet little duck faces and melt instantly and fall apart when I can't save one!
I will keep that in mind!! It never fails it happens late when the threads have gone dead for the night!!
I'm glad to know they can take their sweet time though it already feels like an eternity when you're waiting hoping they're OK then to only have a small hole to keep checking on them and I'm afraid of the shrink wrap thing!! Sorry to ramble just totally worked up and worn out over this hatch! Thank you for the advice and lending an ear!!
