Hands on hatching and help

How long should it take a chick to hatch once it's started zipping? One of my chicks has been zipping for a long time now but doesn't seem to be turning. She is just staying in the same spot even though there is no shell there. I don't want to open the incubator because almost all the chicks have externally pipped but my humidity is low as well. It's about 54 percent. What should I do?

So one of my broodies has 3 eggs under her (probably around day 12ish) and I marked them like way overboard so I could easily lift her up and remove new eggs. Well 1 of the eggs is missing! I looked everywhere. No broken shell, no mess anywhere. What the heck???? Anyone have any ideas??

How long has it been? Anything over an hour and I usually help out.

Yes, a lot. She picked a corner of the run and I very, very reluctantly let her keep 3 eggs.

A couple hours of zipping? If yes, then go ahead and help if you're willing to open the bator. Just finish the zip.

Did you look under the bedding? I guess its possible that one of the other hens rolled it away ?

So it was the last egg to pip but the first to start to zip. It started on the right and worked left. Then stalled in the big hole and now just pecks into nothing..
