Hands on hatching and help

Got my Brinsea back finally, but even that was made as complicated as possible. They made it require a signature on delivery - well, I'm not home when the mail is delivered so of course I missed it. And of course it was Friday so the post office was only open until noon the next day. I work a night shift, there was no way I was going to be out of bed and ready to go before noon.

Luckily my father offered to go and get it, and he did - and they were so cheap about it that they actually sent it back in the box I sent it to them in. They couldn't even send it in a fresh box! And they just reused the packing materials too, but they didn't even pack it up, they just set it on top of all the newspaper.

That's just sad!

I have collected my 41 eggs i will be setting

Good luck!

Does anyone breed seabrights??? I have a local couple who are looking for some.

I used to, but got rid of them all.
Also, not to be mean, but there is no "A" in sebright. Just thought pointing it out may help your search. :)

Good luck! What breeds?

LL 9 of the chicks have hatched!!
The one that was breech I helped the most. Followed your instructions and it worked! It is very tired but chirping and sleeping chirping and sleeping.
The other 2 looked like they were shrinkwrapped to me. Their beaks were out of the holes on their shells but the membraine was wrapped around them pretty good. So after letting them sit for awhile (several hours) all they did was chirp but couldn't move, I helped them. I did the exact same thing that did with the breech baby but I also had to peel very carefully the wrapped membraine off them. As soon as it was off the head and a tad more they came right out on their own :)
Thank you for helping!! Love this site for sure!!

That's awesome! Congrats!

Here is a video of all the chicks!! The darker one with the stripes was the last one I had to help. The inner membrane was wrapped around him with only his beak visable and he couldnt move. Once I freed his head and wing he came right out!! :D
