I actually have some Calls from Ravyn in right now, my first time with them, so all goes well.

Oh shoot Pyxis! I had gone for at least 20 minutes without thinking about all those call eggs I moved to the hatcher this morning!

My hatch was 1 out of 11. 1 more had pipped and started to zip but died. The rest were dead in their shells. I definitely believe this to be from low temps. I'm pretty sure it will be the same issue with my 2 remaining turkey eggs. The incubator I'm using is one of those off brand all digital forced air. I don't think it is operating properly. It has reset itself a few times. My duck eggs are in a Harris Farms still air and look great. I also found out that since I'm at an elevation of 2000 ft I need a bit higher humidity level. Live and learn I guess, but the process really sucks. Hubby thinks we should get a brinsea ex or a cabinet. Just don't know if they are worth the investment.

HELP:
My incubator rotator got unplugged for a little over 24 hrs on day 7-8. Will it effect the chicks that much?? I'm hoping they are going to be ok and it won't kill them. This is a VERY EXPENSIVE batch!! And it's the only chance at me having a special flock!

Just the turner got unplugged? They should be fine, just plug it back in

Just the turner was off, not the heat? It shouldn't have much effect. Just plug it back in.
