Hands on hatching and help

I see Amy post on FB. She’s still alive and well, just not hatching like she was. :(

I’ve got 40 chicken eggs incubating now, due next Friday/Saturday.

Anxious to see these Call ducks @Pyxis Good luck!
When are you setting them? I have a few saved up, I could set more with you. :D

Eggs are here! These are the smallest turkey eggs ever. The poults are gonna be so cute. Also the Calls of course. Eight penciled eggs and four appleyard eggs.

I want the turkey eggs! :love
What variety are they?

I want to set more calls, but I better hold off. I just moved 40 eggs from my cabinet to 3 different bators to hatch this weekend. I wanted to try hatching in the cabinet, but couldn’t get the humidity very high, so now my tabletops are full. I’ll try the cabinet again this summer when the ambient humidity is higher. Of course, I could start them in the cabinet, then move them after these chicks hatch. Hmmmmm decisions, decisions. Lol

@shawluvsbirds set some call eggs yesterday, I believe :D

They're Midget Whites :) The eggs are seriously tiny. Here's the smallest with one of the Call eggs.

Ok... so today is day 20 in my first hatch. I started with 10 eggs, when candling I noticed 3 were not developing so I took them out. 5 were regular sized eggs and all doing well and at lock down were all still alive. 1 really large egg Im suspecting twins, but i cant be sure the egg is dark. 1 is not much larger than a regular egg and Im pretty sure it has two embroys (i attached a video of my candling at day 11) I have not checked anyone since. I did check 3 times a day. Im not sure what I should do with the 2 double embryo eggs....
