Hands on hatching and help

I would gently pull the shell from the air hole,..leaving the white membrane it is easier for them to get through, I pulled it back to see if they needed help and both of mine did,..I got half way down and saw a little blood and put him back and overnight his yolk sac absorbed and I went very slow and welcomed him to the world,..he was a little weak but I did the electrolytee and probiotics and it helped him

Hey all, just wanting an opinion from you experienced peeps. This little guy pipped over 24 hrs ago. Hes been working on this big hole since about 1 or 2 this afternoon. I'm just curious if yall think he looks good, and when/if you think I should help him. He seems to be breathing well, and keeps knocking at the shell, he just seems big to me and maybe unable to turn much? I can get better pics maybe if yall need. I've also got pics from when he started earlier.

That membrane looks awfully dry to me. I'm thinking it's time to intervene. Any input? In terrified now

So I can see the chick trying really hard to turn, but having no luck. He just keeps pushing and pushing but only manages to keep pushing the same loose shell.

Hes been in this same position from about 3pm today. I have another thread on their hatching if you want to take a look at the times and progress of the hatching egg. I could really use some opinions before I dive in there. I've already got 2 humidifiers in the room running and the humidity in the bator up as high as possibl . Were at 74%

Morning I am not the massive expert but I’ve assisted twice on my hatches and am so glad I did. I would wrap it in a damp tissue and start gently peeling back the shell. Stop if you see any blood at all but I’m thinking at this stage you won’t. You can moisten the membrane with coconut oil or warm water with a qtip (didn’t have a h first time so used bits of tissue) if you get all the way round you can moisten the inner membrane and pull it back to free it’s wee head then pop it back in to finish kicking out itself. On Friday I had to go with my gut. So many people told me just wait it will be fine. Mine had pipped in wrong end. She was totally malpositioned and stuck. She is now up walking and bouncing around like a hooligan this morning and I am delirious. I have to say it was one of the most stressful things I’ve ever done wondering if I was too early, but I just had to go with my screaming instincts something was wrong. If you look on YouTube there are tons of videos showing just how to assist an egg. Have you seen the article on egg assisting here. I’ll go find it for you

I already went ahead and helped him out!! He was definitely stuck. A very large chick and the membrane had just started to dry on him. I'm a little worried he may have something wrong with him as I could see through part of his skin and see his organs working, but he is moving around and peeping well now. As I was cleaning him up to be done, another one just randomly popped out of an egg!!

This is the assist baby. We had no bleeding, and no yolk as I peeled eggshell back. It went so perfectly!

He does seem to be having trouble moving, but he may just be tired. I need to clean him off better, but I wanted him to rest after fighting to get out for so long. He has other ideas tho....

Here is right after I got him out. Idk if you can tell in the pic, but the skin that's on his neck/chest area right there on top is the see through stuf . His little belly looks swollen to me too, but I've never assisted a hatch before
