Happiness is not having what you want

I am grateful for my CHICKENS!
I am grateful for my family and a husband that has a secure job.
I am grateful that there are people with more patience than me when it comes to giving my crazy white dog a haircut. (Apparently she was wonderful for the groomer - that never happens for me)
I am grateful that I have neighbors that love my chickens as much as I do and for the one that doesn't- blessings to her...

I'm grateful for all the retail workers who are out there working, so I can go christmas shopping. Lots of presents and new ornaments for the tree!

I'm grateful for my family. I have two wonderful sons and a husband. Both, of my boys are sweet and have a great sense of humor. I'm thankful that my Dad, who is dying, may have one last Christmas with us. I'm thankful that I live in the United States. I'm thankful for my job. I'm grateful to be able to sit and watch the grass or a tree grow, see the clouds drift by. If even for a little while, no worries, no stress.

We all seem to have a lot to be grateful for. I try to look for the positives in my life; no matter how abysmal the situation seems, it always leads me to a better place. or at least, a stronger place.

I am grateful for my chickies. In just over a year, they have made a positive influence on several people's lives.
I am grateful that I live in a country where I can speak my mind, practice whatever religion I want to, am considered equal to the opposite sex and can disagree with my government without threat of physical violence.
I am grateful for my family and my family's health.
I am grateful for another year of employment for DH and myself and next year's looking pretty good too.
I am grateful for BYC, I've learned a lot in less than a year. ENABLERS!!!
