This was a really nice surprise today. I am 42 and lovin' it! I wrote this little note on my facebook this morning:

Let them eat cake!!! Proclaimed (supposedly but not really) Queen Marie Antoinette. Today, on my 42nd birthday, I proclaim "Let them eat cake...with breakfast!".

Emma asked me what I wanted for my birthday breakfast. I replied eggs benedict, maple wood bacon, mimosas with Italian Prosecco, sugared strawberries in honey and champagne....and CAKE! Red Velvet cake to be exact.

La vita e bella. Every year is a gift so one should ever miss a moment to enjoy the best in life even if it is cake with breakfast.
