I had to help one of my chicks out because he was taking longer than normal and the membrane was drying on him he was the smallest of them all

Very sad to say, he died. He was sick twice, the second time I couldn't save him. He was so sweet. He lived a week. He was pretty happy while he was alive. So so small.

Thanks. I was sad. I cuddle a different chicken that I saved before, candled my eggs, spent some time out side with the other chickens and I feel a little bit better. I'm still new to this, so maybe it will get easier over time, losing chicks.

don't blame your self sometimes even if you help them they might not live but you did do the right thing by helping him out
