Happy Day

What a smart way to keep the squirrles out of your garden Sandy.

Take 'em on vacation with you...

(and people think I'm strange)

Spook

It's not a party in the conventional sense as those blasted squirrels can't dance worth squat. And they sure can't hold their liquor!
Maybe we can make party appetizers out of those tomato's when we get there. If I can get the squirrels off the boat, that is. Oh, yes, they just had to take a fishing charter . . .

...not trying to hi-jack anyone's thread...

I think I told you about the time "someone unknown"
kidnapped the concrete duck from the distict attorney's
front porch. His wife loved that silly thing..changed it outfit
all the time. Thing had more clothes than their kid.

Anyway, "whoever kidnapped" it, sent ransom notes, took it
on vacation, sent postcards and pictures home to the D.A.'s
wife. It was gone all summer.

She put letters in the paper begging for it's safe return.

Finally found riding the elevator in the court house after
vacation season was over. Had a new suitcase full of various
outfits it had aquired while on vacation.

No one has ever been arrested for this awful crime.

However, the little duck no longer sets on her front porch...

Spook...who knows nothing.

**truth is that it was several people in on the joke. The little duck
really did go on many vacations with different familys that year.
Had his picture taken all over the place.

My brother in law & family just came back from their
own vacation.

I BEGGED her to let me go over to his house, paint a
nice dead-body outine in his driveway, rope off his place
with crime-scene tape.

She knew better. He wouldn't see the humor in it. His wife...yes.
But not him.

Well, the Happy Day party is over... ended with fireworks outside in the driveway. That's what she wanted and who could tell that sweet face no? Any idea how hard it is to find fireworks this time of year?

The living room looks like a toy store exploded.....

Ate an ice cream cake, two bags of chips, hot dogs, and I'm scared to guess how many Popsicles.....

Came in the living room and I asked her if she had a good day. She made loopy eyes and said "I had a good happy day, I happy". lol

Then she sat down... big mistake on her part. She fell right asleep still holding her sippy cup and playing with a slinky. Been a long day for a three year old Princess.

Goodnight sweet Princess. Pleasant dreams.

Now for Queen Em to post some pictures I think. MFB's camera batteries died right as the party started.

Your are not the only one. My computer only let me see half your pics yesterday, so I got a surprise now

Em, she is absolutely adorable! Love the pics! Take many many more as they do grow up so fast. Mine turned 6 two weeks ago. It feels like he was born just the other day...
