Happy Day

I think I have it worse than most people...she's always been independent. At 4 months old she was trying to do things herself. She didn't even want my help when it came to feeding her. She's still that way today. Yesterday was the most I've seen her all week! Every time Terry's mom, or "Ging Ging" as Lily calls her, comes around, there goes my kid. I just get a "bye mommy" :/

Mine told me last night he wants to cook his own dinner, my offerings are not good enough anymore. Unfortunately for him kids don't thrive on jam sandwiches, so he'll have to stay strong.
Oh, he told me to tell you all he caught a mouse today. (Don't tell anyone the mouse in question was quite dead). So: everyone, Xavier caught a mouse

What happened to the birthday party pics?

Yes, I was wondering the same thing....

Love the pics! And that look on her face... adorable.

She is looking to be sure she got everything she asked for in that picture I think.

She is such a cutie.
I thought she looked like she was thinking, "now, how am I supposed to find anything in here? Someone needs to clean this mess up!"

That last bit made me smile. Somewhere around here, we have a short video of my son when he was maybe 6 months or so old. You can hear Celtic music playing on the radio, and Hubby is bouncing the little guy up and down more or less in time to the music. The kid is giggling, and the footwork looks like something straight out of Riverdance. In fact, for many months, Riverdance was one of his favorite videos, then he moved on to Milo and Otis.("Gonna take a walk outside today . . .")

But no, he didn't turn out to be the next Michael Flatley. He's 16 y.o. now, and like his father, cain't dance worth nothin'!
