Happy Duck Days!!!

Spoiled rotten by all this warm weather! I agree with them...we didn't have a very good transition period from hot to cold here, so now I step outside and 50s feels frigid!!

Lucky you, we dropped from the mid 70's straight down to the upper 20's!
Second night of frost tonight. Wednesday i was working outside in shorts and t-shirt…

Our overnight temps are hitting 30s last night and the next few days. We've been lucky to hang on to the warm weather as long as we have though. Not ready for 20s!!!

In halloween wasnt bad for us. It was windy with light sprinkling but we actually got hot in our costumes and the sprinkles werent even noticable.. The ducks enjoyed the water though. And as for the coming winter. My ducks this year will get the shock of their not even a year long lives when they snow falls and things freeze over.

At first they will love it! Then they discover that their water is frozen and will blame you! Then it will be your fault that the ground is frozen and they can't drill holes and btw. how dare you made that hard crust on their pool!
Last year my ducks were complaining at me for days. Whenever i showed up outside they came running and were quacking angry at me for what i had done.
