So basically I'm eating as well as your chickens.
I feel good about that.

This morning y'all had Fajitas w/ corn tortillas, veggie tempura, and a lot of chick crumbles.

I own that I do a lot of very masculine things with my kids between fishing and hunting and building a chicken coop and hiking and camping and whatevering I can see how you would get that impression but I try to make up for both parents in our household so they get a lot of both

Tomorrow will be bass fishing with my son and daughter. Probably our favorite thing to do together.

As hot as it is there may not be many caught, but we will have fun trying

I like that. I am afraid most of my life (at least the parts that make a good story) has been lived on the edge. Sometime the leading edge; sometime the trailing edge.

oh, I’ve got plenty stories from the edge! I had 2 angels watching over me while in the Navy…. They also worked double OT quite often too!
In college after the Navy they still worked hard but, only on occasion they had to work “regular OT.” I’ve also done some stuff that quite certainly qualified as “trailing edge” - not the best of times.

I have a solid agreement for those that participated in starting a “muffin in the oven” and have been “yeucky” or worse, they don’t deserve this holiday or the title of “Dad” or “Mom” or……

My Kiddo’s have really blossomed over all these years… they continue to grow, develop and surprise us.
