Yup! I usually get up around 6:30 AM


So, this is great news! On Monday I will be picking up 5 - 25 BATTERY HENS!!!!! They are $10 dollars each, but it is very much worth it! We will keep some to live with my roosters, and re-home some. I am very excited! I will try to make a video of when I let them touch the ground for the first time. I will update about this on Monday night! I will have them by Monday around 3:00 PM.

are they red stars or leghorns?

I am not sure, but they will probably either be Leghorns or a mix of both (as in like 5 Leghorns and 5 Red Stars)! Leghorns are the most commonly used in the United States.

I bought layer mash today, since battery hens eat that at the factory farms. I will have to slowly switch them to layer pellets. We decided to get 10 hens, if the number changes it will (probably) be more hens rather than less. I will post pictures and hopefully a video after I get them!
