Michel sat down, Blue squirming at his feet, Tuna batting at his ear. Michel's face was turned into a scowl, and he pushed his kitten away gently. "Not now guys." He muttered, and stood up, walking to Champ's stall.

"What's wrong, Mike?" Julie asked when he saw him push his kitten away.

Julie sat. What isn't Mike telling me? Why isn't he telling me? And what about Danny? What type of chickens should I get? Where should I get them? How will I repurpose that shed? What if we have problems with Danny's parents? Do Mike and Danny trust me? What are their home lives like? These were all questions running through her mind, and many more.
