I've wanted chickens forever and we--myself, 2 kids and hubby-- got 8 babies in December 2010. They are beautiful, great layers and a daily source of joy and fun! Breeds: I don't remember well, but I think we have 2 Brahmin mixes, two RIR mixes that are red and 2 that are black,1 marenz (sp?) and one amauricana.
We also have a huge African Sulcata Tortoise, a cat, 2 gerbils and 2 mice.
We're so happy to chat with other chick lovers!
