Ivermectin pour is labeled for bovine. Almost everything else you treat a chicken with is labeled for another animal, IE; wormer, mite treatment, even wry neck is treated with selenium and vitamin E which is a goat product.
 
Welcome, @Bryant1889! This is a very old thread, BTW, although it doesn't hurt to add to it.
There's a difference between the meds used for vitamin deficiency disorders, which are more of what the birds is supposed to be getting in food, and drugs used to manage parasites and infections. There's a very short list of approved drugs for poultry, because of lingering amounts in eggs and meat. Officially a pet chicken is not a parrot, it's still livestock.
