You will be -- and are -- a wonderful, loving parent. Your concern and fear for your child reveals how deeply you care. Just trust in yourself!

I'm sending healing energy to you both!

Your aura put tingles up and down my spine... That felt good.

My favorite painting in our home is a Native American painting... "Turtle Island" (Nice selection in user name..

I had the most wonderful solstice celebration!

I got married on the 19th down in Gulf Shores, AL and the whole trip was covered in good omens from the earth!
Our pastor read two different Native American prayers instead of stodgy old 1st Corinthians, and I loved it.

At the rehearsal, a small rabbit followed me around. We were inside discussing details and he was out on the patio where the wedding would take place. The whole area has glass walls so you can see the full patio from indoors. Little bunny kept hopping along the base of the window and sitting right beside me, just on the other side of the glass!

After the wedding, we stayed at our beach house for a week or so. A family of Great Blue Herons was nesting in a tree by our house. Two parents and four adolescents. They were *very* friendly. Whenever I was down on our dock for some fishing, the herons came and sat with me (quite close) and I shared all my small fish with them. It was so cool.

The other really great thing was the absence of something. We have a family of dolphins that we've been observing for years. Just about every evening, they come into the shallows by the dock and catch mullet in the grass beds. To my extreme relief, they are GONE. I was so afraid they would stick around and get poisoned by the oil and dispersant, but it looks like they had the good sense to leave. I have seen not a whisper about dead dolphins in that area, so I think our friends are safe.

Wish I would have had my camera with me Saturday morning.... watched the partially eclipsed moon set and the sun rise from the top of Squaw Peak. Marvelous, beautiful morning.

and I hope the dolphins are safe.. I expect they are, though. clever creatures.

YES, shine on, fellow travelers!

Gratitude is what's shining in my life right now.....DBF and I have been writing gratitude lists 2-3 times a week. Writing the list makes it very clear how lucky and blessed we are.

Blessings,

fellow traveler

Spectacular! I love sunrise. (I never have a camera at the right time..) For me the experience and mental image usually far exceeds what I could capture on "film" anyway. (What the heck do we say know with digital camera? Capture on SMDC???

Here is a positive experience we just had.
As I wrote earlier an Osprey took one of our 6 week Marans. So our dinner prayer was for mother earth to provide good fishing for the Osprey. (This way we figure it will be full and happy and leave our chickens alone.) Also leave the momma and baby loon alone too! It is the first year in several the loon has nested and had success with a hatch

Well later in the evening we were standing by the lake and the Osprey dropped out of nowhere and grabbed a big fish right in front of us. The osprey had a tough time flying it back to it's nest, to feed its young..
