I was wondering if I can feed hard boiled chicken eggs to my ducks???? They have started laying and one of then is laying soft shells. I am going to buy some oyster shell but cant get that till tomorrow. So wondered if I could do this for today??????

Yes, it would be fine to do that

Yep! my muscovies, guineas, chickens and mixed ducks all love hard boiled eggs...

chopped up real good so they don't resemble an egg anymore...

my young guineas especially like the hard boiled egg yolk...straight from my hand!

There isn't much difference between chicken and duck eggs, all my birds love eggs. No matter what bird it came from!

They are fine anytime. It doesn't hurt to have a bit of extra calcium now and then in the non-laying period, to help the hen build up her reserves. I give mine eggs now and then when I have spares.

is it ok for drakes too?

I doubt that there would be a problem giving drakes eggs, including the shell. Not every day, but now and then. Drakes need calcium too - for their bones etc. If you are concerned, just give your ducks and drakes the contents and not the shell - hardboiled and then mashed or else scrambled.
