Hard boiling eggs

What do you mean by the eggs not being all the way done? When I first started hard-boiling eggs, it seemed that there was often a tiny "gooey" dot in the center of the yolk. Then I heard Martha Stewart say that that is a perfectly cooked egg!

I Ended up trying the hole poking method, as well as adding a bit of salt (which I've always done) & then cooled them in ice water for about 10 mins.
Worked like a CHARM!
