Hello ,why are my boiled eggs hard to peel ,i lose half of the white stuck to the shell, i cant use them for deviled eggs they look bad, any help would be great! thanks again

I boil mine right out of the coop. Let the eggs get to room temp. bring water and a palm full of salt come to rolling boil. Ladle eggs in and boil 14 min. Cold shock and they will peel easily!

Put a tsp of baking soda in the water when you hard boil them. It will break the bond between the shell and egg on the fresh eggs so they will peel easily.

Here's what I do and I swear it works. I boil the water with a little salt added. Wait for the water to be in a full boil and then add the eggs. Boil them for 14 minutes and then take them out and put them in a bowl of ice water. Once they have cooled then you can peel them. Every now and then you might have a difficult egg but that happens in store bought eggs too. We were amazed when we started doing it this way. No more problems.
