Hardware Cloth from Ace

Hey Everyone,

Have any of you ever used the Keystone brand hardware cloth from Ace Hardware?

I am just wondering how it holds up. I normally use 16 gauge wire, but I may try some of this.

Yes, I used the 1/2 x 1/2 on my entire run. I don't know that you can find the small openings in anything less than 19 guage. It would be hard for a predator to get a good grip on the small openings so my guess is the larger the opening the more important it would be to go with a lower guage (stronger) mesh.

Ace special ordered 100 ft rolls for me. I avoided the high shipping cost and thus got the best price I could find.

Yeah, it is a pretty great price. I normally use 1x2 for my really large runs and then 16 gauge 1/2 x 1 for my smaller raised cages. The 1/2 x 1 is getting too expensive anymore though.
