Hardware cloth gauge??

OK, I purchased 1/2" hardware cloth--thinking it was made to build a Fort Knox.. But is seems like very thin wire.. I think it's 20 gauge wire.. I'll have to go look at it again... SO---Will this keep those pest out of my coop or do I need to put chainlink fence on top of the hardware cloth to make sure nothing can get in????

Hi, in hardware and any wire ye salle th # ye thike and stronger the wire is, try to exchange it to 14 gage then you don't have to douple spend!!!
