I was lucky enough to contact a farm equipment supplier and get a good deal. If you can call around and see, that may be your best bet. I paid $110 for 100 feet of 4' wide 3/8" gauge hardware cloth. And that was Canadian .

I ordered mine on Amazon, no shipping with prime. Also the 100 foot rolls were cheaper per linear foot but I wasn't sure I could lift them, that stuff is dang heavy. Bought 50 foot rolls one 2 feet for the perimeter the other 2 were 4 foot.

3/8" gauge? Never heard of that, never even heard of 3/8" mesh holes.
Do you mean 19ga wire 1/2" mesh holes?

Yeah weird right? I asked for 1/2", and they said they didn't have that, but they did have 3/8". It could be the 19ga with 1/2" mesh holes - I have never actually measured it. When I am out again I will and see if I can get a confirmation for you!
