Hardware Cloth

I am throwing together a chicken run this weekend and I will be using 1/2 HDX Hardware Cloth. Can you use staples to attach or do you need something stronger?

I personally go to tractor supply and buy boxes of poultry nails. They are better than using big square hammer-in staples because the staples are so sharp that they are a nightmare to hold and hammer in.

Screws and washers is what I used.
But I always use screws for most everything because they can be 'undone' if I screw (haha) something up.
