Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator is AMAZING!

I’m sure you said in a previous post but remind me what your humidity was at? Mine grew some between 7 to 14 days but not what I excepted. But it grew more between 14 and 18 (candles right before lockdown). Did you candle at lockdown?

For the first few days, my humidity was about 55% which is what the NR 360 instructions recommend. However people on this thread said to lower it down to 45% so I did. It has been at 44-45 until yesterday when I raised it to 65 for lockdown.

Without pictures of the air cell I can't say whether they look small but it sounds like your humidity was in a safe range. In my very first incubations I too incubated at 55% in the NR360s for the first 18 days. As I learned more and began to fiddle with settings to continue improving my incubations for the smoothest hatches is when I found that 45% was the best for me to start at.

Occasionally when you don't see any growth in the air cell it's because the chick has quit and is no longer growing but hopefully that's not the case for yours.

Thanks for trying to help calm my anxiety. I'm sure once I get a little more experienced with this, I won't be such a worry wort and will feel more comfortable understanding what I see or don't see. I think they will be fine.... It's Day 20 today so time will tell soon enough! ☺

Very soon! :fl

Newbie question! So I have two days left so they are on day 19. I haven’t checked the eggs much today. I just came in to check and it appears one has externally pipped! Is that normal? And about how long does it take to hatch after this? Edit: it doesn’t appear the chick broke through the membrane yet, only cracked the shell.

How are those pips looking this morning? :) Have any early peeps made an appearance yet?

Not yet!! There were three pips before I went to bed last night and a new one this morning. One of the pips has gotten bigger so I think maybe it has started to zip? Ill just be sitting here waiting anxiously 😂

I have spent many days sitting in front of incubators, lol. Come on little peeps!

How many eggs are you hatching again? I have 3 that made it to Day 20 out of 7 total. No pips yet but I haven't looked too closely this morning.

Chick #1 has arrived!!!!
