Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator is AMAZING!

I mostly use it to test the bator therm for accuracy, and make notes of any variation.
I sometimes stick it in during incubation.
There's a vent on top of my Incuview that makes it easy,
not sure if the Nurture 360 has something similar.
Incuview.... now I’m wondering if it’s better than the nurture view!?

I calibrate cheapo digital thermometers against my meat thermometer that can be easily submerged and recalibrate. I put them in multiple spots in the incubator to verify everything looks ok as long as the average is close to 99.5F. I typically only do this at the beginning of the season in my NR360s to make sure everything is still working after being stored. I take them out afterwards but some people leave them in. In my IncuView I leave them in 100% of the time that the incubator is running.

and second mention of incuview in a row! Looks like a better design than the nurture right...

The NR360 has more consistent temps and the turner rotating all the way around the incubator completely eliminates any issues with hot and cold spots which I love. The IncuView is great if you're planning on incubating multiple species and it's the easiest incubator I've ever cleaned. The IncuView is a tad finicky with temps which is why I leave multiple thermometers in it throughout incubation so I can adjust as needed it also runs dryer so I find I need to keep the humidity slightly higher than I do in my NR360, that's a matter of monitoring air cell growth though. Occasionally I will incubate in the NR360 and hatch in the IncuView just because it's so easy to clean, lol. The NR360 isn't hard to clean but the IncuView is super easy peasy.

I marked 4 compass points on the tray itself today starting at 0, with marks at 90, 180, and 270 with a sharpie so I could verify the rotation of the tray. I made the mistake while incubating quail, my first hatch, of putting the shelf liner in from the start. It was too thick (I have a thinner one now) and the special 3D printed quail tray I purchased off e bay wasn’t turning. Rookie mistake of course, which was why I started with quail. But at 66 cents apiece Incl. shipping vs $2.78 apiece for the Bresse, it was a cheap lesson.
I added the two Govees today too. Really like the level of data they provide for $15 each. I’ll check them against the ones I got from incubator warehouse, but I’m probably not going to try to calibrate them unless I see a consistent difference.
I am leaving the turner unplugged until tomorrow to give the two or three that had air bubbles a chance to settle down.
I’m learning so much from this TERRIFIC thread! ;) A0DE52EA-403C-48FC-8C77-5425D90C9BCB.jpeg BF5B49A6-5099-4FCF-8552-661867A2A7B7.jpeg
The ”H” on the outside of the unit I also made with a sharpie to help me line up the top and bottom faster.

One of the govees popped open while I was removing the battery protector so I took a picture of it. I like that they are replaceable.

I'm very excited for you. Looks like you're off to a great hatch!

I've been very happy with the 2 Govee I've been using. Longevity remains to be seen since this was their first hatch. So far so good. Their price on Amazon does seem to be creeping up but there's always a lot of variability with Amazon prices.

First pips in the Nurture Right 360. I'm really loving this little incubator. I'll have to do some thinking to decide if I should grab a second one with the next TSC coupon. Or build the cabinet incubator of my dreams. Kind of a win-win situation.
